Living with Fibromyalgia #OOTD

There is not a day that goes by that I am not in physical pain. I pray each day for some relief and nothing seems to help to decrease the pain. I have realized that stress really does increase the pain. I work every day to press pass the pain. I get all my strength from God as he helps me. patience is a virtue. ...... I have learned to keep a positive attitude. I take nothing for granted and look for something good to happen to me. I like sharing with others.. What do you find inspiration in? Do you feel that you can still be inspired? Something new....shirt www.rue21.com Something blue....vintage blue pleated skirt ( thrifting haul) I love shopping on a dime... Keeping the Faith

The last couple of weeks have been just a little trying. I have been to the several different doctor appointments as well as ER visits.  I have been having increased pain episodes as well as problems keeping my pressure under control... At my most recent ER visit, they gave me a new high blood pressure medication to help with managing the elevations in my pressure. I was also referred to one of the local heart doctors for additional testing to rule out any medical conditions with my heart.    I am reassured in my faith in God and realize that no matter what is going on that I have to trust God and know that he is in charge. I have been through so many things and he as not left me without a witness of his power and might. With each passing day, I am able to see him working on my behalf. Just in the simple things of getting up in the morning to having the ability to go and come without incident. By his grace, I am still here and for that I am most grateful! On last week, I ...

A family affair: Moving forward with Hope

2013 has come and gone...our family as been through many changes/challenges during this year but we never lost our "Hope"   We kept the faith and God kept us....although everything may not be in place as we desire or just how we want them to be: we must remember that God has the final say....Everyday I am gaining new strength through him to take the next step in living a victorious life....I am more than a conquer through him that gives a peace that surpasses all understanding... A few months ago, I had a major surgery and continue to struggle in my physical body, but with God all things are possible. On a day to day basis, I am able to get things done that I need to because of the strength that I get from him above...I appreciate God for always taking care of our family and giving us what we need.....  In the next few months, I am looking forward to better things to happen and will share the blessings of God with you to try to keep you encouraged as well as myself.... Many p...

The 30 day challenge....Keeping my Focus

The past few days have been some rough few days.  As usual there are no true words to express how I really feel, but I must say that I am in the press.  I can not give in to how I feel because if I did then the "Fibro" wins.   But this is not how the story ends.  I have taken all the medication that has been prescribed and nothing seems to work. Pain, Pain every where.  I called one of my doctors to see what could be done like change my medications.  The nurse finally called back to tell me the doctor wanted me to increase the Meloxicam  from 7.5 mg to 15 mg.  So now there is a new medication instruction (we will see how it goes). In the past I have tried to do things that might  and have not been able to complete because to I find it very hard to be focused and stay on track as the "PAIN" tends to be my guide.  In the next few days, I plan to begin this 30 day challenge to take my life back.  I have to wait a few days to get the th...

Faithful Friday!!!!

It's Friday, the end of a long week.  Although it has been long, I so look forward to the end of the week.  I like the idea that I do not have to be anywhere at a certain on most Saturdays  and can just move at my own pace.   Today, I will continue to recover at home and try to get over the issues of bronchititis and try to feel better for the upcoming week.  It is bad that one has to stress over how the next week will be even though it is several days away, but that is what I deal with.  I am  looking foward to the day that I can be just like other people and live without worry of physical discomfort. I am working on my faith in an attempt to see that my latter days will be greater than my past.  It is something to look foward to change and it seems that the days will never come.   I am so Glad that I have a relationship with God that constantly gives me strength to help me self not to go in depression.   I know ...

Gotta get movin'

I have been away for a while.    For the past few weeks, I have been in a battle and struggle just to put one foot before the other.    I am truly thankful God’s Grace and his Mercy that keeps me alive.   So many days, I just want to keep my head covered and not come out, but I know that is not a way to live.   I would like to thank those people who keep praying for my strength and healing.   I cannot do this by myself.   On this week, I was finally able to get started on my exercise program.   I think this is going to be very good for me.   As I research Fibromyalgia and learn how to cope, I see you gotta get moving.   Although this seems likes the hardest thing for me I am looking for very positive result.   I am also working on changing my diet as well.    Taking out all processed foods and just looking forward to leaving a more healthy life.   I really did not have much success with the medication meloxicam d...
