Bounce Back

The only thing I can say is that you have to keep fighting. Sometimes this is easier said than done. Over the past few weeks, I have been in a struggle because I had major surgery.  It has been a real struggle to keep my mind  straight and the strength to fight through all the physical pain. In this writing, I will briefly share my experiences and tools that helped me and just might help you. I am on my " Bounce Back" I had a surgery where I was supposed to be in the hospital for maybe two days. Well those two days turned into 10 days of round the clock care. I had a condition that was called ovarian remnant that had developed  a cyst (benign mass) that had created a blood supply and caused my internal organs to be matted together and had to be corrected. Many of us who struggle with Fibromyalgia and other Chronic Pain conditions also deal with always feeling drained and tired. Cat Fight

Cat & Dog fight... Just a Little fun for you today. Some times you have to fight for what you want. If you want to feel better keep fighting. Do not give up the fight. The prize in end is well worth the fight. Sometimes with Fibromyalgia, We loose our determination to push past the pain. I know I have been there, but I have to keep pushing because I have purpose and destination. I really do not like cats (well I fear cats) but I have observed them and they look for opportunities to get their prey.

Fashion Inspiration :Black and White

I have to inspire myself. 90% of the time I don't not feel well because of being in pain all the time but I am determined not to look like I feel. I have found out that your attitudes and responses to life situations determines how you are able to cope with the situation. Everyday, I try to get up with a positive attitude that today will be a good day. I must admit that it does take me longer to get ready than the average person. My goal is to look better than I feel. In coping with any chronic condition, it is good to pace yourself and not to be rushed as thus increases your stress level.  Stress is one of the number one causes and triggers to pain if you have fibromyalgia or other Chronic Pain conditions like Arthritis and Lupus.  What Is Stress? Stress is the body's reaction to harmful situations -- whether they’re real or perceived. When you feel threatened, a chemical reaction occurs in your body that allows you to act in a way to prevent injury. This re...

There are many foods that help to detox the body of toxins that cause inflammation that ultimately lead to pain & fatigue. Here is a recipe that I found that is quick and easy.  It is made out of pineapples. Pineapples are one of the super fruits with lots of great health benefits. See the recipe below. Keeping the Faith

The last couple of weeks have been just a little trying. I have been to the several different doctor appointments as well as ER visits.  I have been having increased pain episodes as well as problems keeping my pressure under control... At my most recent ER visit, they gave me a new high blood pressure medication to help with managing the elevations in my pressure. I was also referred to one of the local heart doctors for additional testing to rule out any medical conditions with my heart.    I am reassured in my faith in God and realize that no matter what is going on that I have to trust God and know that he is in charge. I have been through so many things and he as not left me without a witness of his power and might. With each passing day, I am able to see him working on my behalf. Just in the simple things of getting up in the morning to having the ability to go and come without incident. By his grace, I am still here and for that I am most grateful! On last week, I ...

Laughter is a Good like a Medicine......

How often do you laugh in a day?.....or do you laugh? Or do you just let the pressures of life  and your day to day situations get you down.... Did you know that it takes more muscles and energy to frown than it does to smile?  All writers look for inspiration when they write.   So on tonight, I have to give cordite for my subject due to two totally different situations. One was my lesson tonight in bible study lead by my Pastor that always gives us a word for our souls on on mid-week service.    He is totally led by the spirit of God and knows just what to say ... For that I am so greatful.. My other inspiration comes from a dear friend that I had a phone conversation with last night ....it was very uplifting and she also helped me with her positive attitude and wonderful spirit and she to listens to God and always know just what to say at the appropriate time.  It is good to surround yourself around spirit-filled people.  Everyone of us should just t...
