I have to inspire myself. 90% of the time I don't not feel well because of being in pain all the time but I am determined not to look like I feel. I have found out that your attitudes and responses to life situations determines how you are able to cope with the situation. Everyday, I try to get up with a positive attitude that today will be a good day. I must admit that it does take me longer to get ready than the average person. My goal is to look better than I feel.
In coping with any chronic condition, it is good to pace yourself and not to be rushed as thus increases your stress level.
Stress is one of the number one causes and triggers to pain if you have fibromyalgia or other Chronic Pain conditions like Arthritis and Lupus.

When you feel threatened, a chemical reaction occurs in your body that allows you to act in a way to prevent injury. This reaction is known as "fight-or-flight,” or the stress response.
