Still Standing

Today has been a day of reflection...A time to just think of all the things I have been through the good the bad and the ugly....If you can understand what I am thinking...I really do appreciate God for keeping me and my family. Even through the storm, I have to give him praise for where he has brought me. Even to this day in my life I can see that he has never left me. There are days that I wonder where he is, but he soon reminds me that he is near.  I can say he want leave you alone. I am determined to win. I will come out as the Victor and not the victim.  God has not given us the spirit of fear!  My new saying, " I seen him do it"  helps me to know if he did it then he will do it again...He will show himself string in my life. When the pain gets so Rough...seems to much to bear. I must remember that there is something good on the other side of the push.  "They wait on the Lord shall renew their strength....  Lord teach me how to wait.. I have Fibromy...

A Blessing in the Pain:Something Good has to come out of this....

As my Journey to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I continue with a glad heart just knowing that brighter days are ahead.   I am learning more and more to stop and smell the roses ( see the good things and the blessings that are right in front of me) sometimes it is hard because the Pain on some days are so great... At the beginning of last week I had to to go to the ER. because It just seemed to be more than I could bear. I waited a  day or so to see if I could handle it or if it was going to get any relief.  I finally went to the doctor by this time my pressure was at an all time high 168/110 was the finally reading when they discharged me..I received some new medications that I had to begin to take immediately....With taking this new medication. I have not been able to function  as my normal self.  I spent the whole week off work in an attempt to get myself back on track.  I need the rest I assume....On Sunday I was able to go to Easter...

30 day Challenge update (day 18)

Well it has been  a grand total of 18 days since I began this challenge...I must say that it takes a lot of strength and dedication to make positive changes in your life that are for your own good.   Everyday I have tried my best to add something new to my regimen to a healthy lifestyle. I must report that I have not had any Coke Cola and I am determined that I am not having any.   This has not been the easiest decision, but I feel that it is one of the best ones that I have made in a very long time.  I am not saying that you should not drink any coke or caffeine products, but it is my decision to help me to overcome some of my health struggles.  I must say that I can not report a great deal of relief from the physical pain in my body as I do suffer with chronic pain that has been characterized/diagnosed as Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia has no known cure, but there are others that have documented a great deal of relief and pain management...

I will make it: Healthy and Whole (30 day Challenge update)

I am writing to give and update to how things have been going since I started my challenge to being healthy and whole. I will say that if there is any that that you and you work hard to get it(there are obstacle) then  you will appreciate it much more than if it was given to you freely.  I am to this point right now.  I am working very hard to regain my life back by taking control of my health situation through education and research and praying to God for an answer.  I am determined to feel better and these past few days have been some better and more manageable.  I must say, no it has not been easy,   The first thing I did was to evaluate how I was eating and what I was putting in to my body. And Yes, I was not making the best choices.   In the past few weeks, I have been looking at what I need to add and what I needed to take away.   I was  person that needed a COKE.....I had Coke in the morning Coke in the evening, Coke while driving hom...

Info on Improving your "Fibro" Health

Information that I found and wanted to share about changing eating habits and suggestions to help with assisting with improving ones coping ability.... Millions suffer from fibromyalgia, a condition characterized by months of widespread pain, often accompanied by fatigue, sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, cognitive difficulties, headaches,  low back pain , and other problems. Its cause is unknown and there is no known cure. In terms of reducing pain and other  fibromyalgia  symptoms, according to the latest review,  “Vegetarian diets could have some beneficial effects.” Based on what kind of evidence? In the above NutritionFacts.org video pick I review the 20 years of science we have so far, in which vegetarian and raw vegan diets were put to the test. Both vegetarian and raw vegan diets led to significant improvements in  fibromyalgia symptoms , but what about just  mostly  vegetarian diets or  mostly  raw vegan diets? That ...

It's with in my reach....

So I have launched my 30 day "Challenge" to feeling better.  I have been doing some self evaluation to see just what I can do to improve how I am feeling.  As I am setting her I am watching Robin Robbins  has been on a 175 day of recovery which is very encouraging that there is recovery.  I know that my condition is not has serious as hers but her determination only drives me to want to push harder to feel better.  I now realize that it takes a true true push.  No matter how it looks you can never ever give up!  You can never give in.. I am determined to get my body on track.  The pain that I experience is like that of a tractor trailer that has just stop and not moving... Can you visualize that....it does not feel good you see. On this week I have removed the bad oh Coca-Cola out of my life.   I was an committed Coca-cola drinker.  Not to say that I will never have it again, but to say I will not be drinking it everyday two and three ...
