Faithful Friday!!!!

It's Friday, the end of a long week.  Although it has been long, I so look forward to the end of the week.  I like the idea that I do not have to be anywhere at a certain on most Saturdays  and can just move at my own pace.

Today, I will continue to recover at home and try to get over the issues of bronchititis and try to feel better for the upcoming week.  It is bad that one has to stress over how the next week will be even though it is several days away, but that is what I deal with.  I am  looking foward to the day that I can be just like other people and live without worry of physical discomfort.

I am working on my faith in an attempt to see that my latter days will be greater than my past.  It is something to look foward to change and it seems that the days will never come.   I am so Glad that I have a relationship with God that constantly gives me strength to help me self not to go in depression.   I know that there are others like me that want throw in the towel.   I do not want to throw in the towel, yes I do want to feel bettter and I look forward to the day that I pain free or just able to do the things that I need to do without feeling overwhelmed with simple life responsibilities.

Faith w/o works is dead.   In the past few weeks, I have did quite a few things differently in my life.  taking away things that are not for my good.  I did begin my exercise routine with the ladies and became a beachbody coach with Body Gospel.   I am gradually changing my diet and taking out foods that I do not need which has been one of the hardest changes for me.   I love COKES and junk food and fast food which all are not good for people with Fibromyalgia or other chronic pain disorders..   I am working to educate myself on how to get this done.   It takes a lot of work to take care of yourself.   It is so easy just to drive up to the window and order a burger with everything no onions and a coke.....But it is better to eat a salad and some fresh fruit..

I am also embracing my LOVE for the arts through Photography.   (If you wants some shots let me know....working on my portfolio)   I have always loved the camera and photography.  I remember, when I was younger and my granny (RIP) game me first camera and she said when I see you again you better have me some photos.   Everytime after she gave me that camera, I had to show her my work and the photos that I have taken.   I am just now seeing the difference in taking a picture and a Photo that captures a moment in time....Art is beautiful and it all about expression of  what the artist sees.....So amazing to me as I work on learning this new aspect of my life....

As you go through this day grab on to what you love and run with it....Live life to the fullest and enjoy the moments in time.   you can not change yesterday, but you can make the most of Today.

I will look to the hill from whence cometh my help all of my help comes from the Lord.   Trust God, he will give you just what you need.  If you don't have not JOY...leap for it.......Some may think I am CRAZY.....No I am not, I am just DETERMINED!!!!!

  2. In thinking about grasping the opportunities of TODAY and "running with it" as you so aptly put it, we are reminded of Exodus 3:14. When Moses asks God "who shall I say sent me?", The Creator of All answers, "I am that I am." He did not say "I was who I was" or "I will be who I will be." He reassures Moses that He is with him IN THE MOMENT. The RIGHT NOW. I AM THAT I AM. Today. While we know that God was, is and will be, I truly believe that the power felt when reading this passage, suggests that He wants us to live in Him in the Now, fully aware that He is all that we may need to navigate the Moment. Looking too far back and too far ahead can be both frustrating and stagnating. We can find ourselves hurrying up to get nowhere; spinning purposelessly in a circle of mental rumination and regret that get us nowhere. I totally agree with you my dear sister, we can not change yesterday. I choose to live God's best for me TODAY! Love you and thank you for sharing.

  3. Thanks, I am glad that you enjoyed reading my blog post today and I hope to continue to be positive in live in the now. I accept the fact that we can do not have to be content in the moment that we are in and praise God in advance.....I heard that song that says when your back is against the wall....bring on the praise....sometimes it hard, but he deserves the praise in any situation....even when those around you don't understand.

Vlog:Fibromyalgia Awareness- Living With Fibromyalgia

Vlog: Living with Chronic pain It a Journey, but still I smile. God give me strength on a daily basis. This is my first time doing a video on my journey of living with Fibromyalgia..I am thinking that maybe if I verbally share that O might have a greater impact on bringing awareness to the struggle that goes along with this condition. As this is an invisible illness that many times goes untreated and unrecognized. We have to find a cute and this will only come through education. What had been your experiences and how have you had to deal with the Ill ness? What modifications have you had to make?
